Edison and Marge - A Proposal Story

Nothing is as sweet as saying "you're the one" in Taiwan! Find out how Edison was able to propose to Marge during their Taiwan vacation trip in this #ProposalStory.

"When we were finalizing our Taiwan itenerary, my boyfriend, Edison, kept on suggesting that we look for a place where there are Cherry blossoms. We knew Taiwan had them but going there in April was quite a gamble to experience it. Nonetheless, we still had high hopes. We were able to research about Yangmingshan Park. The only downside was how far it is from the city - almost 2 hrs travel time.

At last we got to Yangmingshan Park but it was closed that day! Its was very unfortunate and i saw Edison making sad faces. To our delight, we saw another park just across Yangmingshan and it was free of charge!

We strolled and to our surprise, there were cherry blossom trees everywhere! I was very happy, it was our first time seeing them. Just when i thought we were over the endless photo ops, he asked me to go to the end of the park. He said that he found the most beautiful sakura tree there. While doing our usual photo ops he suddenly  went on his knees and asked me to marry him. I didn’t know what to say and feel that time, I was caught off guard! I remember that we both were in tears during the moment.

Off all the things he said, all i could remember was “will you…” then i nod to say yes. Haha! We will be turning 8 years this june 1st and everything was perfectly encapsulated by that moment  with the most beautiful engagement ring I have ever seen.
