Proposal - Drew & AJ
What a lovely intimate proposal on a yacht! Thank you for taking us with you on your adventure of stepping out in faith and proposing in spite of the pandemic we currently face. Congratulations, Drew & AJ.
From meeting each other way back in 2017 to being engaged now, check out how their relationship flourished from one chapter to the other, as told by Drew:
After a few months, I got invited by a friend to go on a mountain hike and learned that AJ would be part of the group. I joined and took that opportunity to be friends with her. Then came 2018, we became so much closer and our friendship has begun to flourish. After series of prayers, I have decided to lay my intentions down later that year.
When I first told her my intention, she was still unsure of her answer and eventually decided to turn me down as to give way for both of us to seek God first. I had to undergo work trainings abroad for several months then, and she had to do her own thing as well.
After 5 months, I asked her again, and this time, she finally allowed me to court her. It also did not take long for us to be officially in a relationship. Fast forward to 2020, I started praying once again for the perfect time and place to ask her for marriage.
On January 2021, I finally asked her the question and heard her sweetest yes. Despite of today's situation, God truly never fails to show us His goodness. We continue to pray and still look forward to that day with high hopes that everything will be better.
