Lyndon and Fay - Proposal Story
Lawyers in Love— What's amazing about hearing and witnessing a lot of love stories is how unique they are from one another— there is no universal formula that fits all, and they are beautiful in their own ways. Here's the one-of-a-kind and memorable proposal of Lyndon to Fay in Australia, as told by Fay:
Ours is not the usual engagement story. It was in 2018, more or less a year before our engagement, when we realized that we were ready to take on the rest of our lives together.
In the early part of 2019, we started planning for our wedding – booking suppliers, searching for venues, etc. It was easy to assume that a proposal was forthcoming but I didn’t know when he’ll do it, or worse if he still felt the need to do it.
Then, one sunny day in Australia, Lyndon’s family brought us to one of the most beautiful cathedrals I have seen and walked into. Lyndon and I heard mass which was celebrated in such a solemn and sincere way that we were left in so much awe.
We were just halfway through the first day of our trip and yet we were already so elated. We were so grateful. I thought the day couldn’t get any more beautiful until I saw Lyndon’s family at the side of the church smiling and eagerly waiting for me to go down the church’s steps.
As I went down the steps, I saw Lyndon, the love of my life, extending his hands and motioning for me to move closer. And when I finally reached him, he said the sweetest words I have ever heard “Let’s make it official. Will you marry me?”
With uncontrollable tears of not just joy but most especially of love, I said yes to the man I have prayed for.
I went back home with my future husband in tow and a ring lovingly designed by my fiancé and carefully crafted by Lucce.
The ring sealed our future together and just by looking at it sparkle, I can see that the years ahead will be bright :)
