Ivan and Magne - Proposal Story

It was Valentine’s day when I told her that we were going camping. I even asked her to buy a mosquito repellant lotion just to make her feel confused and annoyed at the same time. 😁

She’s smart and one of the hardest to surprise so I made sure she won’t get a bit of hint. I gave her an impression that February 14 will just be a usual “dinner celebration”. She didn’t know that I reserved a table for us at Antonio’s Tagaytay.

When we got there, we were assisted by my “kasabwat staff” and led us to the spot I selected. Prior to this day me and my friend, Michael made an arrangement with Antonio’s staff so everything was planned. Michael was there waiting, he was the paparazzi that night. 

Magne loves to cook so we really enjoyed the great food while she explained foodstuff that I didn’t really care about— I was so nervous that time. Michael texted me that he found the best spot where to pop the question. 

So I asked her to walk with me and led her to the place— an empty garden. It was magical because of all the time, and place, no one was there! All the people are on the other side enjoying the Saxophonist’s music. 

We sat down on a couch and started talking about our plans. I provided a timeline and told her that something is missing. As I talked, I knelt down and told her that I want to rearrange this timeline— and my priority is to marry her. 

She jumped into joy (maybe? haha!) and with a teary eye, she said YES!  

The ring was customized the way she defined it to me. It’s hard to phish but it is all worth it! Until now, I can see her staring at it’s stunning brilliance!
